The League just made it official:
ORU's Ehambe Named Player of the Week
Ehambe earns Player of the Week honors after averaging 29.5 points on 70 percent shooting last week. He scored a career-high 40 points at Western Illinois, setting additional career highs in field goals (12), three-point field goals (9) and free throws (7). He followed that up with 19 points at IUPUI. Ehambe became the first ORU player since Reggie Borges in 2002 to score 40 points in a game, and just the sixth player in ORU history to do so. Read more.
Not terribly surprising, despite going 1-1 for the week. Carson's game for IPFW was good, but it was just one game. And oh yeah...Ehambe dropped 40 points in one game. That just doesn't happen too often.
